Jeff Boian

Founder & Managing Director

jboian@juntoadvisors.com

Jeff is the Founder and Managing Director of Junto Advisors, where he works with boards, C-Suite leaders, and family enterprises. Most of his work is focused on governance, succession, and strategy, along with the executive hires and transitions that come with them.

Jeff tends to take a systems approach and look at the whole situation before reaching for a plan, since a leader and the structure around them usually move together.

His work falls into three areas: strategy and planning, executive search, and executive coaching. The strategy and planning is for organizations facing change or a new chapter. The search work is for filling key leadership roles. The coaching is one-to-one and confidential, with ICF training behind it.

Jeff has more than twenty years of experience across multiple industries, including higher education, corporate HR, executive search, and consulting. He holds the SPHR and SHRM-SCP and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership.

Jeff also teaches, as a lecturer at California State University, Chico and associate faculty at Butte College, in leadership, management, and business.

Jeff lives in Chico with his wife and four kids.

Why Junto?

In 1727, Benjamin Franklin founded The Junto (aka The Leather Apron Club) in Philadelphia. Its purpose was to debate “questions of morals, politics and natural philosophy” and exchange knowledge and experience of business. They believed true wisdom and improvement came from the free exchange of experience and knowledge pursued “without fondness for dispute or desire of victory.”

We seek to employ this spirit in everything we do at Junto Advisors.
